This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the Gold Coast’s standout beachfront hospitality venues in a hands-on leadership role.
Our client operates a high-volume venue in the heart of Kirra, delivering a premium mix of food, beverage, events, entertainment, and coastal hospitality. With sweeping views across the Gold Coast coastline and a growing reputation as one of the area’s destination venues, this is a role for a confident Venue Manager who knows how to lead from the front.
As the business continues to grow, our client is expanding its management team to meet demand. The Venue Manager will play a key role in driving service standards, team performance, financial outcomes, and memorable guest experiences across a busy, fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage, events, entertainment, and guest experience
Manage, motivate, and develop front-of-house staff to deliver consistently high service standards
Lead from the front during busy service periods, ensuring strong floor presence and operational control
Drive financial performance across spend per head, labour control, cost management, and venue profitability
Maintain high standards across presentation, cleanliness, compliance, service, and customer experience
Support rostering, staff training, performance management, and team development
Oversee high-volume bar and venue operations in a large-capacity environment
Work closely with security, DJs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders during late-night trade and events
Ensure compliance with RSA, RMLV, licensing, safety, and venue management requirements
Handle guest feedback, resolve issues quickly, and maintain a positive venue atmosphere
Contribute to a strong team culture built on accountability, energy, service, and professionalism
Perform hands-on operational duties safely and efficiently as required
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar venue management or hospitality leadership role
Proven experience managing high-volume bars, hospitality venues, or large-capacity operations
Experience managing venues with capacity of 200-400 patrons highly regarded
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop staff
Confident leading from the floor and maintaining control during busy service periods
Strong commercial awareness across labour, cost control, spend per head, and financial performance
Experience working nights, weekends, public holidays, events, and late-night trade
Comfortable working with DJs, security, entertainment, and fast-moving venue environments
High presentation standards with strong attention to detail
Current RSA and RMLV essential
Approved Managers licence held or obtainable
Hands-on, energetic, reliable, and physically capable of supporting venue operations
Positive, service-led attitude with the ability to bring energy, professionalism, and consistency every shift
