This is a serious litigation appointment inside one of the Gold Coast’s most respected boutique law firms. Strong Southport location, established reputation, loyal client base, and a litigation practice with genuine depth across individuals, businesses, and corporate clients.

Our client is looking for a Litigation Lawyer who can manage matters with confidence, provide clear legal advice, and contribute to a close-knit, high-performing litigation team.

This role is built for a lawyer who knows how to balance technical skill, client service, advocacy, strategy, and commercial judgement without losing sight of practical outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage litigation matters from commencement through to resolution

• Advise clients across a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters

• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, conferences, and court proceedings

• Prepare pleadings, correspondence, evidence, submissions, and legal documentation

• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in consultation with partners

• Work closely with partners and senior practitioners on complex and varied matters

• Mentor and support junior lawyers where required with clear guidance and accountability

• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and practical legal advice

• Maintain strong file management, compliance, deadlines, and professional standards

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing litigation team culture

• ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 3 years PAE as a Litigation Lawyer

• Admitted to practise in Queensland

• Proven experience managing litigation matters with autonomy, confidence, and initiative

• Strong understanding of litigation procedure, strategy, evidence, and court processes

• Confident appearing in court, mediations, negotiations, and client conferences

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong client management skills with a practical and commercially minded approach

• Ability to work collaboratively with partners, lawyers, and support staff

• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing deadlines

• Experience in body corporate matters will be highly regarded
