With nearly four years of blazing a trail in the recruitment industry, a string of accolades and global recognition, it’s been an illustrious journey. Luke Hemmings, the wily and pioneering Managing Director, has decided it’s time for a new chapter for Whitefox Recruitment.
From humble beginnings as a one-man operation in 2019, Whitefox became a tour de force in Canberra’s recruitment scene, bolstering local businesses with an impressive database of over 7800 top-tier candidates.
The tireless team worked magic, helping businesses bloom while propelling Whitefox to the forefront of the recruitment industry. Its slick operations even earned the gong of ‘Most Efficient Recruitment Agency – Asia Pacific Region’ at the recent Australian Enterprise Awards. Not too shabby, eh?
Whitefox’s Phillip office will wrap up operations on Friday 28th July 2023, drawing the curtain on one of Canberra’s brightest success stories. The legacy is one of unrivalled service, steadfast support for local businesses, and a deep commitment to clients and candidates alike. But like all pioneers, Whitefox knows that to keep growing, one must always seek out new frontiers.
A carefully considered strategy and thorough evaluation drove the decision to pivot from Canberra. No hard feelings, though; Canberra was a brilliant breeding ground. But as the saying goes, “change is the only constant,” and this change is all about aligning more closely with the evolving business landscape and Whitefox’s future growth trajectory.
Contrary to what the local chatter may imply, the move isn’t a commentary on Canberra’s merits. Canberra was a brilliant stomping ground, filled with unique strengths and opportunities, particularly within the Australian Public Service sector.
The city will always hold a special place in the Whitefox story, and the team’s fond memories of collaborations with exceptional professionals in both public and private sectors will not fade.
