Today was an extraordinary day for Coceptive Recruitment, as our Principal Consultant Luke Hemmings was announced as a finalist in the RSCA Industry Awards for the Rising Star Award 2021.
As a member of RSCA, we drive involvement in the RSCA community heavily, as we recognise it as the peak body for the recruitment and staffing industry in Australia and New Zealand.
The prestigious RCSA Industry Awards recognise the best of best in the recruitment, staffing and workforce solutions sector in Australia and New Zealand. These awards are among the most distinguished in the sector and highlight outstanding achievement in the space.
We’re so excited and grateful for our Principal Consultant Luke to be recognised as a finalist this year. With a diverse background in hospitality, the corporate sector and media, Luke’s success with Coceptive Recruitment can be attributed to a determined dedication to remoulding his existing skills and attributes into the passionate and fulfilled professional he is today.
Rising Stars typically have five or less years’ experience in the industry. Luke entered the industry with no experience, starting the business from scratch – an unorthodox start to say the least! But he refused to let other people’s doubts or negative opinions throw him off course. He hit the ground running, learning as he went. According to him, it’s the best decision he’s ever made.
When he launched Coceptive Recruitment, Luke was seeking a fulfilling career that would suit his personality, skills and ambition. But he also wanted to create a business that would help others find a similar fulfilment. If he can be remembered or inspire others in any way, he hopes it’s with his “never quit” attitude.
